Show Your 4-H Colours Day

This day is to support the impact that 4-H has on youth and their communities. It also allows members to share what 4-H means to them. Many landmarks all across Canada are lighting up green to show their support

4-H is a non-profit organization that has a goal of  empowering youth to be responsible, caring and contributing leaders that make positive change in their communities and our world. Members can choose between Small Animal, Livestock, and/or Life Skills projects. They also can hold executive positions in their club and help run the meetings or they can choose to volunteer on numerous committees or events that happen throughout the club year. 4-H’ers also participate in communication events, multi- species judging events, summer camps, and numerous community events throughout the year. 4-H is a great club to join if you would like to help make a difference or be exposed to different opportunities throughout your project. It is a great way to gain essential life skills and enjoy doing it!
