In March 2024, the Town and County of Barrhead will be welcoming a student delegation from Tokoro Hokkaido, Japan, for a 7 day visit, the first since 2020. There are expected to be 2 students (High School) and a Teacher/Principal from the Tokoro High School; currently. They are scheduled to arrive March 7th and depart March 14th. During their visit, the delegates will tour the Barrhead area, attend school, and meet many community members.
