Is your student interested in a career in policing? Are they in grade twelve and have a spare fourth block?
Pembina Hills is excited to partner with Northland School Division to offer the following courses from MacEwan University: Policing in Canada and Law and Administration of Justice.
There are no prerequisite courses necessary for these courses. Students must be in Grade 12 and have their fourth block open in order to be able to attend the synchronous online courses (whether that be through a spare or by making changes to their schedule). Students are expected to be in the -1 stream though due to the rigor of the course content.
There is an unfortunately quick turn around time for this opportunity, and interest must be shared with our dual credit coordinator, Alex Wilkinson (alex.wilkinson@pembinahills.ca) by Friday, September 5th in order to proceed with the courses. You can also reach out to her with any questions.
Below is a link to a FAQ regarding the courses.
