Pembina Hills and CAREERS Next Generation are happy to announce that they will be offering our second annual Career Camp for students entering Grade 10 in the fall.

The camp will run from July 7th to July 11th at RF Staples Secondary School in Westlock.

This five day camp is an opportunity for students to earn their 3 CALM 20 credits, so long as they attend all five days and ensure they successfully complete activities given to them throughout. Students will have a chance to learn about exciting careers in agriculture, heavy equipment operating, construction trades, and more. Some of the activities they will also take part in are guest lectures, entrepreneurship activities, as well as learning to create a resume and cover letter.

Limited seats are available, but there is no cost to attend. Bus transportation to RF Staples will be available from Barrhead Composite High School.

Parents can apply for their students through PowerSchool until the deadline on May 16th.
