Planning and design for the Barrhead Composite High School modernization and renovation has continued, following Alberta Education’s approval of construction funding October 15th. Architects anticipate 90% of planning will be completed by November 15th, with final discussions to include the phasing for each section of construction and contractor pre-qualifications. The expectation is for tenders to go out at the end of November, and for contractors to begin in the spring. There will be much change over the next few years, but also a great deal of excitement with a newer and updated school at the end.
