7-3 & 7-4 Fur Trade Dioramas

7-3 and 7-4 have put together some incredible fur trade dioramas, this year. These projects represent weeks of historical research. Students were tasked with representing the complex relationship between the First Nations, Métis, and European traders. A huge congratulations to all students in 7-3 and 7-4 for their creativity and dedication to bringing history to life!

BCHS Students Attend Model UN

This past weekend, 21 students from Barrhead Composite High School attended the High School Model United Nations (HSMUN) conference at the University of Alberta. Our delegates represented countries, debated global issues, and worked together to draft resolutions with students from across the province.

We are proud of the leadership, preparation, and professionalism of our BCHS students!

Castle Rock Resources – (For Diploma Exam and PAT Practice)

Castle Rock resources allows us to bulk order different copies of the Castle rock library, including “The Key”, SNAP workbooks, Problem solved and Class Notes, or an immediate digital access called Solario. The paper books will be shipped in bulk to BCHS (at a savings of approximately $10 per copy) compared to ordering this from Chapters. The attached pdf has the ordering link
