This weekend the JV Girls Basketball Team headed to Drayton Valley for Zones. We entered Zones as the number three seed but with heart, hardwork and determination the girls defeated the number 2 seed Holy Trinity 50 – 30 and then the #1 seed Edson 62 – 25.
This year was a building year and many of the girls did not have a lot of basketball experience. We set our expectations and commitment level high early in the season and the girls stepped up and didn’t disappoint.
